We interviewed brooklyn about her upcoming (5/25 & 26) workshop!

Tiny Spoon: What inspired your workshop?
brooklyn baggett: The workshop came about as the requirement for my MFA teaching practicum. During my manuscript creation, I was struggling with representing some of my work with words only. This led my to a more visual/hybrid approach and was the catalyst for the workshop.
TS: Are there any works we’ll be exploring in the workshop? Why do you want to highlight them?
bb: There will be works that we will look at; however, I keep them a secret until the workshop.
TS: Can you tease what workshop attendees might expect?
bb: They can expect to get their hands dirty.
TS: What do you hope they might gain from the workshop?
bb: New ways to look at their own poetic repertoire and a new sense of inspiration.
TS: What is your favorite part about workshops?
bb: Definitely sending packages to each participant and see the work that is created during the class.
TS: Anything else you’d like us to know?
bb: trans rights are human rights
