Patreon

Looking for a writing community? Curious about behind-the-scenes of publications? Need someone to edit your manuscripts? Look no further–the Tiny Spoon Patreon has your writerly needs covered!

As creatives, we designed each of our tiers to reflect common desires of writers seeking community and inspiration. We are particularly excited about the new potential that our monthly workshops and editor talks will offer for our community to become even more interconnected and collaborative. We hope that you’ll find one of the tiers has what you’re looking for and you’ll join us for workshops and more!

In addition to fostering more connection between editors, readers, and contributors, the Patreon is also a way for Tiny Spoon to generate more funds that we can put into the magazine. We are looking to begin perfect binding our magazine to enhance the quality or printing and considering different ways for us to expand into the future. Your support will help us go from tiny to just a little larger.

Patreon Tiers:

Teaspoon

Our Teaspoon Tier offers you a gateway into a blossoming writing community. Our monthly workshop is run by our editors, who all have MFAs in Creative Writing and Poetics, and provides a place to explore writing  and receive collaborative feedback. It will have our special tiny spin on things to keep it  experimental and encourage new approaches to writing practices.

At this level, you will also receive submission decisions within two weeks of submitting (as opposed to 3-6 months when we read all submissions in full).

You will also have all the basics to be current on all things Tiny Spoon, including a physical copy of our current issue and inclusion on our newsletter with exclusive updates.

In these monthly chats, you have the opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes processes of our publication. Our editors, who all have their MFAs in Creative Writing and Poetics, will also foster discussions around writing and literature, balancing prepared content around contemporary topics with questions and discussions from patrons. It is your chance to learn more about publishing processes and ongoings within the writing community.

We also love to promote other ongoings within the writing and literary world, so at this level, we will also promote any work you might be currently doing on our social media pages. Usually, this is exclusively reserved for our contributors, but you’ve earned a special place in our hearts.
